I took these photos Sunday January 19, 2025. I returned to see if the Barred Owl I saw the previous day was nearby. Can you see the owl in the photo below?
Looks like this Barred Owl is remaining in the area. I appreciate their persistence.
The owl was sleeping in a pine tree. This owl looked comfy in the morning sunshine.
I took a few images and quietly continued my hike. I was glad to see this Barred Owl again. Sleep well and be comfy owl buddy.
