I took these photos April 19, 2025. I was halfway into my hike and saw Rusty. They were out looking for breakfast. This spot is 20 feet from where I had first met Rusty.
I think Rusty may have recognized me. Perhaps I am Peanut Guy.
Rusty wandered over and began searching the leaf litter. I watched for a few minutes. I left a few peanuts next to the trail and wished Rusty a fine day.
