I took these photos December 21, 2024. I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Snowy Owls. I decided to skip my hike and look for Snowy Owls southwest of Ottawa. While driving along a rural road, I saw this Snowy Owl.
The arrival of the Snowy Owl on the Winter Solstice is timely. I feel like they brought Winter with them. I will check back on the snowys in the coming weeks and months.
