I took these photos February 17, 2025. I saw this American Robin perched and they looked like they were enjoying the morning sunshine.
These trees have berries and I have often see American Robins and other birds pick at the berries for food.
Perhaps this robin had already eaten and was simply enjoying the morning sunshine.
