Fancy seeing you here. What's it been 1...2 years?
wow!
Thanks! :)
It’s so beautiful, the camouflage is just stunning.
Thanks Sydney and agreed. Nature is simply amazing - I have passed by owls several times and almost missed them their camouflage is so good. :)
Beautiful grey-morph Eastern Screech Owl! I love the way he blends in so well, yet he is also rather fluffy!
Thanks Pamela! Their camouflage is truly amazing!
It is! It has been a while since I have seen a screech.
How adorable! I love how the owl made itself fit in that small hollow lol it looks even fluffier 😄
Thanks Daisy Anne! :)
What a hoot! Owls are so magical.
Thanks Wei Tam and agreed - there is something magical about owls.
Excellent photos and poem! These birds are a joy. I hear them far more than I see them, was once sent a recording and asked what the sound was. They were in disbelief it was an owl.
Thanks James and much appreciated. The Screech-owls make some interesting calls - I think my favourite is the 'trilling' call.
Is the owl peeking out of its tree nest?
Hi Michael, yes. Probably an abandoned one from a woodpecker.
wow!
Thanks! :)
