Sleep comes without effort, despite the rising heat of the new day.
Journey through the darkness and the cool night has faded away.
The breaking of dawn has now passed and morning is in full bloom.

I took these photos June 22, 2025. I regularly check this tall pine tree on my hikes. Over the years, raccoons in the park have used this tree as a shelter.
I looked up and saw this raccoon sleeping. The temperature was humid that morning. I took a few images and continued my hike. Sleep well and be cool little friend.
